My New Plans
I am not sure if this is the right way to approach it, but I believe I am going to use the blog and podcast next school year. I was already going to sit down and rewrite some assignments this summer for classes, so I believe it would be more reasonable to do next year -- considering my obstacles already this year with Think.com. I don't know where the ball got dropped, but maybe it was for the better this year. I like the ideas from Dave about "Digital Footprinting" found at Sitemeter. As I find other ideas throughout the class (and beyond), I plan on posting them here. It will act as my digital journal for the future.

Hey Chris-
That seems like a very logical way to approach things. I plan to use our Digital Media class and my blog to investigate and play around with all these tools which are quite new to me. Once I have a better understanding of all this stuff, I feel like I will be better equipt to create a more useful blog for my audience. For right now i feel like i'm still learning... wish me luck!
I have some great ideas on how to incorporate it into a classroom. For instance, I teach a Keyboarding class every year and see it being used for our "Warm-up" journals instead of copying lines out of the book. This way students can communicate while using the skills taught. Of course, the heavily graded parts of class would still come from bookwork.
